Job Summary:
The Associate Director of Digital and Omnichannel Analytics Technology is responsible for leading and managing the development and implementation of digital and omnichannel analytics solutions within the organization. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of analytics platforms, tools, and processes to drive data-driven decision-making, enhance analytics capabilities, and contribute to the success of our high-impact digital and omnichannel initiatives. and optimize customer experiences across various digital channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the digital and omnichannel analytics strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives. Develop and maintain analytics platforms and tools, leveraging advanced analytics techniques and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Omnichannel Center of Excellence, marketing, business operations and market access to implement data collection methodologies, ensuring accurate and reliable data is captured from various channels. Ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Analyze and interpret data to derive actionable insights and recommendations for improving digital marketing campaigns, customer journeys, and overall business performance. Develop and present data-driven recommendations and insights to senior leadership, influencing decision-making and driving business growth.
- Oversee implementation and support of Next Best Action (NBA) and other artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. Continuously evaluate new AI/ML research, trends, technologies, tools, and platforms and their applications in the pharmaceutical industry. Optimize and tune data infrastructure and systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Manage ongoing programs, engagements, and budgets. Provide mentorship and guidance to individuals in their day-to-day activities on the effective use of technologies, tools, and techniques to drive successful outcomes. Share best practices, provide coaching and feedback, and support the professional development of team members. Additionally, actively foster a culture of continuous learning and development, encouraging the exploration of innovative approaches and technologies.

Education: (from an accredited college or university)
- -Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology required
- -Master's Degree Master's degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology preferred
Experience:
Required:
- 7 or more years of IT experience, with a focus on digital analytics, data management, or related roles supporting the pharmaceutical industry.
- 4 or more years of experience in a leadership role within IT, preferably in a Global Life Sciences organization
- Experience with omnichannel marketing and customer journey analytics.
- Strong background in creating interactive visualizations, dashboards, and reports preferably using Power BI
- Proficiency in data management and integration, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with Veeva CRM and master data management tools preferred
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud-based AI/ML services (Azure preferred).
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques. Experience with Gen AI, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and predictive modeling is a plus.
