Position Title: Small Stores Supervisor
Location: Neenah, WI
Description:
Lead Store Room activities by maintaining the Stores facility and controlling assets with emphasis on spare parts inventory management while meeting the mill and division operating objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Support a Culture of Continuous improvement in safety
- Actively participate and support NOS processes.
Manage Stores
- Work with maintenance, engineering and operations personnel as well as purchasing, finance and staff administrators to maintain Stores inventory at an acceptable level.
- Ensure that the Stores function supplies quality parts and materials when and where they are needed in a timely manner while minimizing the company's investment.
- Manage the operations of the Stores Warehouse within the framework of procedures and policies to ensure attainment of service and security requirements within cost standards.
- Provide knowledge of warehousing and materials handling techniques and recommend changes to improve service, security and costs.
- Work with Purchasing to ensure both areas are working towards mill objectives.
- Coordinate effectively with maintenance and other mill supervision to ensure that Stores materials are available where and when needed.
- Maintain relationships with outside suppliers of Stores inventories in order to maintain Vendor Managed Inventories (VMI), troubleshoot purchasing issues and evaluate inventory needs.
- Maintain adequate and accurate records along with all necessary information on supplies and materials received or dispensed.
- Audit inventories to ensure they correspond to inventory records.
- Provide necessary recommendations, reports, plans and other pertinent information on a timely basis to permit sound judgments regarding the Company's plans and objectives.
- Serve as site facilitator and trainer and for item maintenance software (Structure).
- Communicate fully with superiors, subordinates and others who have need to know. Communicate in a way that is timely, complete, concise, accurate; and clear.
Project List
- Inventory management projects –reduce slow moving, reduce inventory levels to appropriate levels, cost saving measures, etc.
- Stores housekeeping projects – manage daily housekeeping and long term projects.
- Security Projects, audit stores off hours access.
- Approve Daily Requisitions.
- Troubleshoot Stores issues – receiving, purchasing, expediting.
- Evaluate ATS items to determine justification for stocking.
- Authorize Service Receipt Confirmations. (SRC’s)
- Approve Cycle Counts
- Touch base with BinFill Suppliers
- Calculate Monthly Stores Results
- Inventory levels
- Transactions
- Cycle Counts
- Parts on work orders
- Excess Inventory

Preferred Requirements
- Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of Inventory Management
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Self-motivated with a high level of personal drive
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in Oracle systems and Excel
- Associates degree preferred
