POSITION: Sr Omnichannel Trade Strategy & Customer Planning Manager
LOCATION: Alpharetta, GA
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Sustainable & Adhesive Solutions team a Sr. Omnichannel Trade Strategy & Customer Planning Leader. This role will work in a collaborative environment with key account sales managers, new product development, marketing, production planning and financial resources. You will:
- Act in a customer-facing role responsible for driving the conversion of Brick & Mortar and eCommerce sales and marketing objectives into customer specific plans and setting trade strategy.
- Lead Customer Planning by providing best in class business & consumer insights and actionable go to market recommendations.
- Lead line review process planning and seasonal promotional planning efforts with sales and marketing that develop and grow total category sales by leveraging syndicated data, shopper and consumer insights, customer analytics and industry trends.
- Drive and manage the annual sales budget and planning process by collaborating with sales, marketing, and finance. Provide leadership and insights that enable customer-level forecasting. Inform monthly and quarterly forecasting.
- Provide leadership in the creation of content for selling stories for internal knowledge shares, customer annual reviews and Joint Business Planning meetings.

- This role reports to the Director, Omnichannel Sales.
- Proactively research syndicated, market trend and customer data (Circana, Kantar, eCommerce shopper data, etc.) with the purpose of identifying marketplace and customer trends/opportunities and turning it into actionable recommendations and high-quality business plans that grow key categories and create long term value (In-store & online).
- Provide reporting on new product entries, seasonal items, channel specific assortments and key promotional results.
- Demonstrate mastery of content building to lead, develop and participate in key customer Line Reviews, Joint Business Planning Meetings, Top-to-Top meetings as well as helping to drive the long-range business planning process.
- Actively develop and create instore & digital shopper and retailer centric strategies/tactics to achieve increased retailer market share and, category sales and profits.
- Develop strategies and tactics to enter new customers/new markets/new categories.
- Identify areas of improvement in the category performance through assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotion analyses and recommendations.
- Analyze customer and market trends and work with Sales Team to provide monthly/quarterly customer-level forecasts to meet or exceed targeted objectives.
- Leads the deployment of budget targets across customers and channels to ensure business objectives and targets are met or exceeded. Includes bottoms up sales forecasting, identifying building blocks, key plan drivers and risks/opportunities.
- Completes roll-up of annual plans to help inform budgeting process and determine gaps. Drives resolution process to address and close gaps between field sales and Brand partners.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- 7+ years’ experience working with a leading CPG company in customer/sales planning, trade strategy/marketing, shopper activation and/or channel marketing. Extensive US retailer knowledge preferred.
- Experience with Pure Play eCommerce customers, National Retailers or Wholesale channels required.
- Experience in leading and creating a Line Review, Joint Business Plan and Top-to-Top presentations.
- Ability to build and sustain strong working relationships, at all levels, with cross-functional teams and customers. Strong demonstration of influential leadership.
- Strategic thinker and initiative-taker with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, often under aggressive deadlines.
- Proven ability to analyze and identify insights from a combination of data sources. Ability to gain insights and present strategies to internal / external senior leadership using multiple sources with varying amounts of data and detail.
- Advanced analytical skills and computer software proficiency (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skill sets, with attention to detail and focus on follow-up.
