Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for B2B marketing? Moss Adams is offering a unique opportunity for a Consulting Marketing Senior Manager. In this role, you will lead the marketing strategy for our Risk Advisory & Compliance and Deal Advisory Services group, providing strategic and operational leadership to shape our growth in the marketplace.
As the Consulting Marketing Senior Manager, you will have a significant impact on our business, working closely with practice leadership to define and refine marketing approaches that align with business objectives. You will engage with client servers and sales teams to identify market opportunities, build comprehensive go-to-market strategies, implement plans, and measure performance. Your deep understanding of solutions, services, industry trends, and client-server expertise will help you frame compelling value propositions.
You will play a pivotal role in designing and executing integrated marketing programs and demand generation campaigns, continuously identifying new marketing activities to drive growth. You will collaborate closely with Creative, Legal, Sales and Learning & Development teams to deliver outstanding results, fostering a sense of teamwork and shared success.
We seek candidates with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in developing and executing B2B multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs). An understanding of the professional services industry, SEC, PCAOB. M&A and enterprise companies is highly desirable. Experience in marketing IT compliance and cybersecurity is a plus. The ability to work collaboratively across various teams and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels is crucial.
Responsibilities:
- Create and lead marketing strategies across assigned practices (Business Risk Services, Technical Accounting Consulting, Systems and Organization Controls (SOC), Examinations, IT Assurance, Cybersecurity, Valuation Services, Due Diligence, M&A Tax, Merger Management, Post-Acquisition Dispute Resolution, Restructuring Services), ensuring approach supports practice growth goals and is aligned with the firm’s overall marketing and brand strategy
- Collaborate with sales and marketing colleagues to drive integrated marketing strategies through varied channels, including content marketing, advertising, digital marketing, media relations, collateral and events/sponsorships
- Direct marketing planning and budgeting process across practices, and report performance against strategic goals and financial plan
- Lead other marketing personnel, providing mentoring and performance management in addition to supporting the development of an effective team culture. Collaborate with other leaders to address personnel training needs
- Analyze marketing results for assigned practices and drive change to increase effectiveness
- Facilitate sharing and implementation of best practices across assigned practices and function
- Provide sales and marketing department leadership, directing initiatives and/or collaborating with other functional leaders to guide sales and marketing department operations and strategic approach
- Direct execution of client experience, communication and other growth initiatives in coordination with national marketing and sales resources
- Serve as a brand ambassador, helping others better understand and articulate the firm’s brand position
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in marketing, communications, business or related field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years related experience with progressive marketing responsibility, including leadership and/or management responsibilities; experience in public accounting or professional services environment preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Moss Adams will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)
- Able to work effectively across functions/departments/teams while building trusted relationships and positively influencing others
- Able to assess challenges, think critically, and identify creative solutions
- Excellent project management skills with ability to own and drive project schedule, as well as manage peers and individuals senior to you
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience giving executive level presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint); previous experience with CRM systems, as well as BI reporting and email marketing tools
- Able to travel as needed, approximately 20%
