The Information Technology Equipment Custodian will support the 33rd Network Warfare Squadron Defensive Cyber Operations Team onsite at Lackland Air Force Base. This position will be an active part of this unit and will be responsible for maintaining accountability of all Government IT assets utilized in monitoring, securing, and protecting the Air Force and Central Command global networks by tracking, inventorying, documenting the relocation and the sanitation and disposal of excess or obsolete IT equipment according to Air Force and DoD Instruction.
· Maintaining accountability of all assigned Government IT assets.
· Conduct annual inventories of assigned accounts
· Deploy new IT hardware on designated networks
· Relocate existing IT hardware as directed and required
· Implement and document all equipment transactions
· Basic knowledge of MICT (Management Internal Control Toolset) for organizational self-assessment and checklist management requirements.
· Manage warranty repair actions for assigned resources
· Troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace IT hardware as needed
· Sanitize and dispose of excess or obsolete IT equipment according to Air Force and DOD instructions.
· Effectively operate and maintain Government vehicles and other
· Develop and maintain work center specific training programs, and train government employees in the work center
· The ability to safely operate up to a 2-ton GOV (Government Owned Vehicle) as well as an 8K forklift.
· Effectively document, track and maintain required documentation unit assigned GOV.
· Travel to perform maintenance and installation, as requested
· Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned
Education:
· High School Degree Required
Licenses & Certifications:
· Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
Experience:
· Prior experience with Air Force equipment control procedures is highly desirable
Skills & Abilities:
· Knowledge of MS Office Suite and familiarity with MS Windows 10 operating system
· Ability to organize work and prioritize tasks to meet goals
· Good communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
· Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer-service focus
· Must be able to lift 50lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods, and climb stairs
Other:
Ability to work 0700-1600, 5-days a week, with emergency recall available after hours
$70,000 - $90,000 a year
