Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Live by and champion our cultural values encompassed in what we call The Twilio Magic
- Collaborate with engineering and product management team members to help influence and improve our current product offering
- Develop end to end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization - APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components
- Initiate, lead, and deliver Salesforce projects, including maintaining a role in developing and designing architecture
- Lead the building of Salesforce application development and support competencies amongst engineering peers
- Acquire new technical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, high-delivery environment
- Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers to maintain high-quality coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed
- Participate in an Agile environment, attend daily scrum meetings, analyze assigned user stories, and identify and resolve gaps in functional user stories and business requirements
- Contribute to the testing of our code and the delivery of what we create to production

Required:
- Typically, 5+ years of software development experience with cloud application development
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related industry experience
- 5+ years developing, maintaining, and supporting applications in the Salesforce AppExchange ecosystem using Apex and Aura Components
- 5+ years experience with Salesforce customization and configuration
- Knowledge of building distributed systems at scale and microservices architecture
- Experience in UI technologies like JavaScript, Lightning Design System, and Lightning Web Components
- Experience using Salesforce configuration and customizations using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Scheduled and Batch classes
- Positive attitude and aptitude to learn and execute quickly in a small team
- Experience implementing modern automated testing approaches
Desired:
- Experience with AWS preferred, multi-region deployment a plus
- Experience in secure coding best practices
Location
This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.
Travel

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- $112,320 - $140,400 USD
- This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
