JOB DESCRIPTION:
In this role, you will be responsible for processing items in a ticket workflow system and creating purchase requisitions in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Your primary objective will be to ensure the seamless flow of materials and supplies necessary for our operations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Ticket Workflow Management:
- Receive and review incoming tickets for material requirements, ensuring accuracy, and completeness.
- Prioritize and organize tickets based on urgency and importance.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to gather necessary information and clarify specifications as needed.
- Update ticket status and progress in the workflow system, keeping stakeholders informed.
- Purchase Requisition Generation:
- Translate ticket requirements into detailed purchase requisitions in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Verify item specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines to align with operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Follow up with requisition approvers to expedite the approval process.
- Data Management and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including purchase requisitions and related correspondence.
- Generate reports on ticket processing and purchasing activities for management review.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the supply chain team and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate efficient procurement processes.
- Communicate effectively with supply chain to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Provide support and assistance to colleagues as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management roles.
- Familiarity with ticket workflow systems and MRP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and communicate with external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- APICS/ASCM Certification
- Previous Aerospace Experience
- 1-3 years in a similar role
$19.74 - $29.62 an hour
