Nontenure Faculty Pool - Health Administration

 

Specific educational requirements vary by position, but a minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required. PhD, DHA, DBA, DrPH, MHA, MBA, MPH, and other degrees considered. Healthcare management or long-term care administration experience may substitute for this prior graduate teaching requirement.

FACHE, CHFP, FHFMA, CMPE, FACMPE, FACHCA or other relevant certification based on professional curriculum teaching assignment. A master’s degree, doctorate/PhD from an AACSB, CePH or CAHME accredited program is also preferred.

The Department of Health Administration will accept applications from qualified applicants on a continual basis.
