Job Summary:
Under general supervision, this position must demonstrate a mastery of system diagnostics, testing and repair of select shop inventory. The incumbent will also receive inbound shipments, interact with supply vendors on problem resolution, and complete workorders.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

Receive inbound shipments of core parts and conduct cycle counts and periodic inventories as required.

Troubleshoot communication device issues and interact with vendors on problem resolution; process purchase orders for defective communication devices.

Test, repair, and/or rebuild select shop inventory to be placed back into circulation for use by technicians

Perform diagnostics to include but not limited Electrical, AC, Air Brake, Drive Train, Engine systems and complete repairs to company and manufacturer’s specifications.

Accurately complete work orders and other written materials according to established procedures.

Document all necessary information including pictures for warranty claims on work orders.

Attend training courses on new technology on engine and electrical components. Understand and effectively follow all shop safety procedures.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 5 years related experience and/or training; clean MVR per JBH standards and valid driver's license; forklift certification.
Preferred Qualifications:

Repair or Maintenance Certifications

Understand and demonstrate the safe operation of all shop tools and equipment (powered and non-powered)

Compensation:
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
