Job Description
We’re looking for a VP Global Channel & Public Sector to join Procore. In this role, you’ll have significant exposure to strategy, planning, and go-to-market development for our overall channel and public sector businesses. You’ll develop, mentor, and lead a team to iterate on and scale our existing motions while helping focus on expanding the reach of the overall channel motion Procore. Specific to Public Sector the focus will be on acquiring new business directly and through Channel Partnerships.

This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and can be based in our Carpinteria, CA, Austin, TX, New York, NY offices or work remotely from a US location. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of a channel partner program to expand our software reach including but not limited to the public sector
Recruit, qualify, and onboard qualified value-added resellers (VARs) and system integrators (SIs) specializing in the public sector.
Foster strong relationships with channel partners, acting as a central point of contact and ensuring clear communication.
Develop and deliver training programs to equip channel partners with in-depth knowledge of our software solutions and public sector needs.
Collaborate with channel partners to identify and develop sales opportunities within government agencies and public institutions.
Manage the public sector sales pipeline, forecasting revenue for both direct sales as well as ensuring alignment with channel partner efforts.
Track and analyze channel partner performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing ongoing support.
Advocate for the needs of the public sector within the company, ensuring our software solutions are tailored and compliant.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences focused on the public sector and government technology.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in global channel sales leadership: A proven track record of building and managing high-performing global channel partner programs, ideally within the software industry, at scale.
Demonstrated success in public sector sales: Extensive experience exceeding sales goals within the government and public sector verticals.
Executive presence and strong relationship building: The ability to cultivate strong relationships with senior executives at channel partners and public sector agencies.
Strategic program development: A proven ability to design and implement channel partner programs that drive significant revenue growth.
Channel partner recruitment and management: Expertise in recruiting, onboarding, and managing a diverse network of value-added resellers (VARs) and system integrators (SIs) focused on the public sector.
Sales leadership and coaching: The ability to lead, motivate, and coach a high-performing public sector sales team, potentially both direct and indirect through channel partners.
Financial acumen and forecasting: Strong understanding of financial metrics, forecasting accuracy, and the ability to manage a complex sales pipeline across multiple channels.
Negotiation and contract expertise: Proven ability to negotiate win-win contracts with channel partners and public sector clients.
Deep understanding of the public sector: Knowledge of public sector procurement processes, compliance requirements, and the unique needs of government agencies.
Industry visibility and thought leadership: A recognized leader within the public sector and software industry, with a strong network and the ability to represent the company at conferences and events.
