As part of our Client Revenue organization, we are hiring a Solution Consultant focused on Financial Services. With a command of technical and soft skills, and exhibiting substantive business acumen, the Solution Consultant will utilize their technical expertise, experience, and thought leadership to act as a strategic advisor to clients during the pre-sales processes. This role is expected to build strong relationships with clients and assist the account team in delivering solutions that address the unique needs of each client.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial services solution and industry expertise that results in increased pipeline and exceeding revenue targets.
- Own solution definition, strategy, and positioning.
- Collaborate closely with the account team to understand customer requirements, challenges, and objectives, and translate them into effective solutions.
- Build consensus across various teams through active listening, diplomacy, and leadership.
- Assist in preparing and delivering responses to RFPs (Request for Proposal) and RFIs (Request for Information), ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.
- Deliver compelling presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Acxiom solutions, effectively addressing client pain points and illustrating value propositions.
- Act as a technical consultant, advising clients on best practices, integration strategies, and configurations to optimize the utilization of our products within their existing systems.
- Focus on selling complex solutions in terms of business outcomes and industry care abouts.
- Explain complex concepts in simple terms by translating technical concepts into everyday language.
- Gather and align teams to solution requirements and ensure correct input to pricing tool.
- Collaborate with the product organization, sharing client feedback, market insights, and trends to contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services.
- Partner with product teams to develop demos and talk tracks that demonstrate the uniqueness of the Acxiom value proposition.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies related to our capabilities and our clients’ needs.
- Identify, lead, and collaborate on new innovative solutions and capabilities to drive and support growth strategy.
Require Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, with significant experience in financial services industry.
- Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions. Extensive understanding and/or hands-on experience in marketing and advertising technology products, solutions, and platforms.
- Strategic planning experience and the ability to build future-looking strategic marketing roadmaps.
- Solid foundation in media and programmatic environments.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- 30% travel required.
Differentiating Qualifications
- Experience leading complex digital transformation projects at large organizations.
- Knowledge of cloud providers – Snowflake, GCP (Google Cloud Platform), and AWS (Amazon Web Services) environments.
- Knowledge of marketing cloud platforms – specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Platform.
- Knowledge of CDPs (Customer Data Platforms).
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
