As a Prime Video principal product manager - technical, you’ll have ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. Prime Video offers customers a vast collection of movies, series, and sports—all available to watch on hundreds of devices, a number of them free with Prime or via Channels subscriptions. In this role as a product leader for Prime Video's Global Application Experience team, you will have the opportunity to define strategies and deliver features across hundreds of devices (living room, mobile, web, Alexa, automotive, VR and more) to millions of customers in 250+ countries around the world. This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with engineering, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to bring products to market that span navigating the app, content discovery, 24/7 live TV, and playback CX, among others. You’ll define the vision for highly ambiguous problems where the technology and solution is not known at the start and build the roadmap for delivering the vision. You’ll also help us identify strategies related to how Gen AI can unlock better customer experiences. Furthermore, you’ll help develop the product management culture of the team. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Director of the team to dive deep into metrics, develop a ‘voice of the customer’ program, illuminate new insights and build better processes and mechanisms across the entire org to uplevel the skills of all product managers on the team.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who is highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, and team oriented. You have a consistent track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. You are comfortable presenting your point of view to influence stakeholders and senior leadership. You excel through innovation, creativity, and attention to detail. You are a collaborator who flourishes in a large organization. You have experience working directly with software engineers to deliver customer facing technology products. You are technically savvy and can weigh in on the pros and cons of a technology choice while providing your opinion on trade-offs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience technical product management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
