About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Social Media Project Manager to oversee a broad range of Social Media and internal projects that include strategy, static design, editorial and motion graphics, and copy. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and confident manager who can coordinate cross-functional teams, manage complex timelines, and ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality creative assets. This project manager will primarily manage Social and internal projects, though there will also be ad hoc Marketing project needs.
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 5 years of project management experience in a fast-paced agency or client environment. They should be proactive, possess excellent communication skills, enjoy collaborating with their team and cross-functional partners, and be adept at giving and receiving constructive feedback.
This role is a hybrid role and based in Los Angeles, CA
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the creative process from concept to completion for a broad range of projects for Social and Internal teams.
- Proactively gather and analyze information to understand project requirements fully before initiating tasks. This includes identifying stakeholders’ expectations, potential challenges, and necessary resources early on in the process.
- Be the primary source of truth for Social Media specs and best practices, holding the team accountable to both.
- Communicate regular project status updates to core team members and project stakeholders if outside the core team.
- Manage resources effectively, including allocating tasks, scheduling reviews, working with the creative team to identify their priorities across multiple projects, and collaborating with other Project Managers (especially when resources are being shared across multiple projects).
- Negotiate project estimates with agency and vendor partners, and draft and review scopes of work.
- Maintain meticulous records of all project stages and communications to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Maintain project timeline trackers, resource trackers, and budget trackers.
- Cross-check creative rounds against rounds of previous feedback to ensure all stakeholder feedback is addressed.
- Ensure the final deliverables align with brand standards, are the correct specs for the placement/usage, and meet or exceed creative expectations.
- Continuously seek improvements in workflows and processes by evaluating current practices. Develop strategies to optimize what works and eliminate inefficiencies or room for error to enhance productivity and creative output.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that each meets the set standards and deadlines without compromise.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle complex or ambiguous projects with multiple moving parts and minimal supervision.
- Take initiative in proposing new tools or methods that could benefit the team as a whole.
- Be an advocate for clear communication, efficiency, and productivity.
- Properly organize project files and assets used to be easily navigated.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience Social Media creative project managing/producing at an agency, studio, or in-house network in the Entertainment or Consumer Brand space.
- Experience managing cross functional teams..
- Proficiency in using project management tools to organize creative workflows, resources and communications, including advanced knowledge of Google Suite, Airtable, Slack, and Shortcut preferred.
- Demonstrate advanced organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
- Embody a future-focused, solutions-oriented way of thinking, identifying blockers in your path to progress and getting ahead of challenges before they happen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Passionate fan of Movies & TV a plus.
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long-term incentive plan, and various benefits including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.

Base ($97,000 to $138,000 / year) + Bonus + Long-Term Incentive Plan + Benefits
