DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a well organized and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support two Directors in our Amazon People Experience (APX) global organization. This exciting role requires excellent attention to detail, great organization and prioritization skills, the ability to plan ahead and to meet tight deadlines, all while juggling multiple critical requests.
APX is essential to the manager experience at Amazon. By equipping managers with the tools, resources, and support they need, the HRP team helps drive organizational success and fosters a culture of excellence.
This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel. The successful candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the organization.
Key job responsibilities
This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars in various time zones, planning and organizing events of all sizes, creating agendas and coordinating domestic and international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group. This individual will help maintain mechanisms and assist with team engagement.
A day in the life
- Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing calendars, events, and activities
- Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements
- Act as a liaison for direct reports; building rapport and support across team members
- Travel coordination and expense reimbursement
- Management of special projects and events (ex: team offsites) as needed
- Space to innovate and set new practices into motion for a global PXT team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of executive assistant experience
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with large global teams
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
