Position Highlights | The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) at the University of Arizona invites applicants for the position of Manager of Faculty Affairs within the SBS Dean's Office. The SBS Dean’s Office Faculty Affairs team supports a diverse, innovative, engaged and large College with more than 500 career track, continuing and tenure-track faculty members. SBS values, supports and advocates for a culture of diversity, equity, access, inclusion, belonging and innovation. This position manages college level processes, provides collaborative support for a number of administrative processes and procedures and works closely with the Dean and Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and Inclusion. The Faculty Affairs team oversees Promotion & Tenure procedures and processes, workshops, professional development and recognition of faculty, faculty-oriented programming, special projects and other faculty affairs related initiatives.
We are looking for a team member who has diverse skillsets and expertise in faculty affairs who has interest in interacting with administrators, deans, directors, heads, managers, coordinators, other staff and constituencies in the College, across campus and off campus.
