Work you’ll do
The Team Lead will lead a team responsible for maintaining enterprise analytics business intelligence products and fielding smaller data science ‘pods’ to respond to new and emerging analytics needs across the project. The team lead will applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data to advance and enable the client's key mission outcomes. In this role, you will help lead and manage all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions, through data collection and ETL, from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. This role requires special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights. This role will also be required to provide significant leadership across the entire analytics team, and spend significant amount of time conducting client engagements with senior staff.

The GPS Analytics and Cognitive (A&C) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active Secret security clearance required
- Ability to travel 5-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- 8+ years of consulting or industry experience supporting data driven technology engagements
- 4+ years experience with Python, R, or SQL
- 4+ years experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, or similar
Preferred:
- Prior professional services experience supporting government clients
- Proven experience in leading large working groups and teams
- Strong understanding of the intersection of data and business processes

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113325 to $188875.
