Work you’ll do
- Provide logistics team management and subject matter expertise support to drive supply chain, acquisition, and operational logistics efficiencies that produce readiness outcomes and sustained naval forces worldwide.
- Responsible to manage a team that performs programmatic integrated logistics support elements in the development and coordination of logistics and sustainment.
- Coordinating pre/post material support date (MSD) provisioning, allowancing and spares modeling, acquisition documentation and reporting, and Platform Management Office logistics infrastructure standup within the US DoD Logistics and Sustainment ecosystem.

Qualifications
Required:
- An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
- Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited four‐year college or university
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in managing Logistics programs working a minimum of 7 out of the 10 Logistics Elements or combined fifteen years of experience in two or more of the following areas:
- Program execution oversight
- Analytical and problem solving related to logistical issues
- Software defined radio or similar
- Strong communication skills
- Travel up to 10%.
- MUST BE LOCAL TO SAN DIEGO, CA.
Preferred:
- US Aviation Logistics experience
- Tours at afloat aviation platforms such as aircraft carriers, amphibious assault ships, aviation squadrons, Aviation Support Detachments (ASDs), Fleet Readiness Centers preferred but not required
- Previous Consulting Industry experience and strong core consulting skills preferred but not required
- Experience in supporting, coordinating, and managing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) products and services
- Database and aviation systems experience including NALCOMIS, Deckplate, NTCSS: RSupply
- Strength with Microsoft suite of systems to include Excel, Power point, and Word
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification experience preferred but not required
- Ability to operate independently or on a small team
- Be comfortable with ambiguity in a highly visible, fast-paced role facing senior leadership
- Typical work products include strategic roadmaps, SES-level briefings, and memorandums
- Other Desired knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience:
- Defense Acquisition University Logistics Level III or equivalent certification
- Experience in supporting Department of Defense projects to include performing professional or technical logistics work
- Experience supporting, coordinating, and managing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) products and services
- Experience in supporting ILS acquisition and technical tasks required to provide ILS requirements for the design, development, integration, implementation and evolution of programs and initiatives
- Experience in coordinating with Department of Defense platforms to validate ILS requirements and implement plans to meet requirements
- Experience in conducting supportability studies, reliability and maintainability analyses, assessments, and remedial actions for assigned systems
- Experience in translating requirements to specifications
- Experience assisting program personnel with “total system” logistics planning and timely implementation of support for all system installations
- Experience in gathering technical information, calculating, analyzing data and present logistics metrics for vendor’s and field Reliability, Availability and Maintainability data via Microsoft products
- Experience in preparing and attending conferences involving program/project analysis
- Experience in collaborating and coordinating with a cross matrix organization to ensure contracts and deliverables are adequately reviewed from a total logistics perspective
- Experience in gathering technical information, calculating, analyzing data and present logistics metrics for vendor’s and field Reliability, Availability and Maintainability data via Microsoft products.
- Experience in tracking squadron deployments and aircraft deliveries to ensure deliveries of products as required
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and administering key meetings such as IPTs, Integrated Logistics Support Management Teams, and other logistics management and technical meetings
- Experience in preparing detailed meeting minutes for senior leadership and tracking action items for internal and external meetings and conferences
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Understanding of reliability, maintainability, and logistics requirements documented in USC Title 10, DoDI 5000.02, DoDD 5000.01, and NAVINST 5000.2.
- Experience in assessing and presenting production issues and challenges, as well as, identifying and recommending solutions to leadership
- Experience in supporting the development and review of integrated logistics planning documents

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,750 to $171,250.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
