DESCRIPTION:
Tutor Perini Corporation is looking for an Administrative Assistant to perform clerical support services including the direction of administrative duties for specific people or groups. (ie, company executive, division, department, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Main office receptionist, including procurement / organization of office supplies and support equipment, delivery services, etc.
· Track and Issue employee IDS and parking passes.
· Assist supervisor to coordinate office maintenance by tracking issues and scheduling repair crews.
· Compose and/or edit letters, memos, reports, procedures, etc., as required.
· Oversee and/or process day-to-day administrative items (i.e., expense reports, supply requisitions, personnel transaction forms, operating budgets, etc.) per supervisor's authorization.
· Prepare special reports, studies, statistical analysis, brochures, etc. per supervisor's request. Such items would usually require research, development and/or interpretation of data and be performed with little supervision or instruction.
· Perform additional assignments at any given time per supervisor’s direction.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Educational and experience requirements include: High School diploma. A technical degree a plus.
. Minimum 2 years administrative experience or equivalent combinations training and related experience.
· Working knowledge of general office procedures plus ability to organize and coordinate group work efforts required.
· Proficient in web based research and Microsoft Office software.
· Communicative and interpersonal skills is required.
· Behaves in a professional manner at all times regardless of challenging situations.
Expected hourly rate for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 depending on experience.
