Seasonal Broadcasting AssistantPay Details:
The starting hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour.As a seasonal assistant, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the industry and contribute to the growth of Ducks broadcast platforms, including the newly formed Victory+ streaming network and KCOP over-the-air partnership, as well as the club’s wholly-owned Ducks Stream audio network. The Broadcasting Assistant will play an important role within the department, with opportunities to learn and grow in various areas of the broadcast industry.
Responsibilities
Assist in the marketing and promotional efforts of the Victory+, KCOP & Ducks Stream products
Create videos for Ducks Stream Twitter that align with the voice of the brand
Assist Ducks Production with media asset management
Provide administrative support to Broadcast department
Cultivate behind-the-scenes content through video/audio production
Assist in booking guests such as NHL media, players, personnel for weekly shows
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Skills
Knowledge of audio/video production
General knowledge of the Anaheim Ducks, NHL, and all of its affiliates
Familiarity with setting up cameras, audio mixers, microphones, etc.
Skilled in operating Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proactive in completing tasks, handling multiple projects, and problem solving
Flexible schedule and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must be enrolled in or have recently completed secondary education
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Education - Some College, No Degree
Experience Required - 0-1 Year
