Job Summary:
This position is responsible for leading and performing workflow for a logistics area within a warehousing department supporting manufacturing operations. This person will achieve daily, weekly and monthly goals while ensuring safety, quality and productivity. Support management in inventory accuracy and controls, ensure accurate movement of goods, assist management in warehouse space optimization. This person will oversee the activities of the Material Handler team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Processes all deliveries, including parcel, supplier, and truck, in a timely manner; Loads and unloads trucks with raw materials and finished goods.
Delivers manufacturing raw materials in a timely manner.
Coordinates the raw material and service parts cycle count programs.
Supports the customer service team to process returned materials and address customer complaints.
Provides training and support to warehouse team members.
Maintains cleanliness, efficiency, and operations within the warehouse.
Implement process changes, working towards continuous improvements.
Ensure that personnel follow all applicable MIs, SIs, SOPs and GMP procedures.
Support Shipping functions to maintain on time shipments.
Comply with all ISO 14001 requirements.
Comply with internal environmental management system requirements, as applicable.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
The position is Monday through Friday daylight, but will at times require willingness to work a flex schedule as required to meet warehouse operational demands
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
Forklift experience, required.
Applicable experience in a warehouse function which supports manufacturing, strongly preferred.
Prior experience leading or training other employees, required.
Working experience in warehouse management systems or ERPs such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, etc., required.
Willing to work a flex schedule as required to meet warehouse operational demands
