We are seeking a Product Strategist, who will directly report to Strategy and Operational Excellence Leader, and he/she will be responsible for shaping the processes and strategies for our product and solution teams within the Digital Manufacturing Group. This role is not focused on product development but rather on setting the strategic direction and operational frameworks that will drive innovation, efficiency, and market success. This role will ensure optimized process and standards behind the development of Digital Manufacturing products and solutions and ensure they deliver exceptional value to our stakeholders.
An ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, IT, Manufacturing and the biopharma industry.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to guide product and solution teams, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and market trends.
- Bridge the gap between business goals and consumer challenges to ensure new requests products and solutions are warranted and cannot be fulfilled through the extension of an existing product.
- Define standard process for requirement finalization and solution(s) strategy using Design Thinking process.
- Promote adherence to Digital Product/ Solution Development best practices and processes such as Design Thinking & SaFe Agile for ensuring optimum program outcomes.
- Work closely with product managers, solution architects, and other stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence.
- Establish and monitor key success / performance indicators around product and solution development to inform continuous process improvements and enable future efficiencies in the product development lifecycle.
- Establish and monitor key success / performance indicators to measure the successful adoption and use of deployed products and solutions.
- Prepare and present strategic plans, progress reports, and performance analyses to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
Leadership
- Encourage a culture of innovation within the product management teams.
- Identify and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance product management practices.
- Lead efforts to continuously improve product management methodologies and practices.
- Ensure Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within the team, foster an inclusive culture, and ensure all team members actively contribute to a respectful and equitable workplace.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, process optimization, or a related role within the manufacturing or technology sectors.
- Experience in the biopharma industry is highly desirable.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent understanding of emerging digital technologies and their role in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align product strategies with business objectives.
OTHER INFORMATION
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in the biopharma industry.
- Ability to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing the product lifecycle.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,200.00 to $248,600.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
