Executive IT AnalystPay Details:
The starting hourly rate range for this position is $33.65 to $42.07 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will take internal value, peer equity, job-related factors, and other organizational considerations into account.The Executive IT Analyst provides technical support to OCSE top executives including Vice President and C Suite executives. This role is crucial in ensuring the company’s leadership tech tools work flawlessly and they can work efficiently. Responsible for Information Technology (IT) problem resolution, product deployment (both hardware and software), and infrastructure management. This role will administer, develop, test, implement, and maintain various systems and related software. Implement standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters. Troubleshoot and resolve software, operating system, and networking problems. Schedule and monitor system backups and, when necessary, assist in data recoveries.
Responsibilities
Information Technology Services
- Provide IT support for executive staff which includes all Vice Presidents, Sr Vice Presidents, Presidents, and Chief level executives
- Offer immediate, high-priority technical support to the executive team, working with an executive based on the executive’s timeline while coordinating with their assistant
- Ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance for all personal computing devices and software applications
- Troubleshoot Executive’s technology issues immediately and ensure the issue is resolved promptly, escalating to other team resources as needed
- Study existing information technology systems to evaluate effectiveness and develop recommendations for new systems to improve production or workflow as required
- Conduct research pertaining to new information systems to meet current and projected needs
- Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system
- Upgrade systems, correct errors to maintain system after implementation in compliance with IT department standards
- Recommend hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts
- Schedule, plan, and perform system upgrades, including coordinating the transition from test to production environments
- Properly document incidents and support requests via ServiceNow
- Provide EAs and EC including VP team members with IT knowledge by training and supporting them on new systems and procedures
- Support Zoom and Teams meetings, configuring and troubleshooting
- Support and troubleshoot AV systems for conference rooms
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve local/remote issues
- Follow up with users to ensure their systems are functional
- Report customer feedback and potential IT service improvements
- Help create and maintain Knowledge Base, technical documentation, and manuals
Professional Support
- Provide training and technical support to all end-users
- Conduct surveys to consider user needs and capture research data
- Manage maintenance schedules and contracts with outside services
- Be available to work special events where IT support may be required
- May be called in for emergency troubleshooting which may include after hour normal business hours
- Attend technical conferences and seminars to keep abreast of new IT developments as directed by management
- Prepare time and cost estimates for completing projects
- Direct and coordinate work of team members both internal and external to develop, test, install, and modify technical solutions
Computer Support
- Maintain all PCs for executive level staff to IT department standards
- Configure hardware, such as workstations, printers and servers
- Install or assist service personnel in installation of hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives, following design or installation specifications
- Troubleshoot hardware issues as they arise
- Clean dust out of the PCs and keep wires organized
- Identify PCs/monitors/components which need to be replaced as part of company cycles
- Inspect personal computer equipment and prepare computer for delivery
- Keep an inventory of all PCs
- Refer major hardware problems to service personnel for correction
Skills
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows-based PCs (Windows 7 and newer)
- Hands on experience troubleshooting, installing, configuring Windows OS, iOS, Mac, MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), mobile devices and tablets
- Working knowledge of Active Directory concepts
- Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical and comfortable with organizing and executing complex plans
- Proactive with excellent follow-through skills, able to prioritize and complete projects in a timely manner
- Great project management skills
- Must have excellent problem-solving, communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Energetic self-starter, self-motivated and eager to lean new operation procedures
- Possess a valid California driver’s license and a good driving record
- Requires prolonged standing and bending; ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and some holidays as required
- Able to work independently as well as in a team dynamic
- Able to understand the organizations goals and processes to align technology solutions with business needs
- Must be able to work in high pressure fast paced environment while maintaining a high energy positive attitude
- Must be able to adapt to change quickly, every day is different
