About the job
As a Senior Project Manager on the People Partnerships (2P) team, this role reports to the Director of Strategic Delivery and will drive coordination of high priority and complex projects across the HRBP and TA teams, with a heavy emphasis on change management and workforce transformation initiatives. Embedded in the People Partnership team (HRBP, TA, ER, and Strategic Delivery PMO), this group is focused on being the first and last mile to the business, delivering People programs and enabling business-specific initiatives. This role will work across the People team, driving cross-functional projects and building change management plans and communications strategies. This role is perfect for someone who loves defining how to deliver large, complex, cross-functional projects and owning successful execution; someone who is more than a facilitator, but someone who cares about achieving the project objectives, and is comfortable managing through multiple efforts at once, while remaining flexible and agile.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead the workforce transformation project management efforts for the People Partnerships organization
- Build relationships and partner with HRBPs and People team COEs to drive change strategies for transformational projects and initiatives
- Deliver on all aspects of project management for the initiatives you are responsible for; develop project plans, secure resources, and drive project schedules; collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables; document, communicate and resolve project-related needs and issues
- Align with stakeholders and other project team members on deliverables, dependencies, and decisions in order to meet project deadlines
- Report on project status, outcomes, and project results to stakeholders and potentially executives
- Create and deploy a structured change management approach for critical initiatives across the organization; Assess organizational change readiness across initiatives to tailor strategies based on existing skills, capabilities, and willingness to adapt to change
- Build and advise on communication plans, including taking the lead on content creation, to identify the key messaging, audience, and cascade of communications; Responsible for ensuring everyone understands what changes are taking place, why they’re happening, and how they will impact their day-to-day work

Required:
- 5+ years of experience in project management
- Experience leading complex projects, such as organizational transformation, workforce planning, organizational design initiatives, M&A, etc.
- Deep project management skills; must be able to effectively plan, organize and drive complex projects to completion; experience managing resources in a matrix environment, without direct authority
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and successful project outcomes
- Demonstrated ownership and consistent delivery on commitments with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; must demonstrate outstanding skills in areas such as time sensitivity, responsiveness, follow-through, accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to move projects forward and influence cross-functional stakeholders amidst ambiguous circumstances or project criteria
- Expertise in project management tools and methodologies
Desired:
- Prior experience running projects with a global scope strongly preferred
- Formal certifications in project management, change management, and/or organizational design a plus
Location
This role will be remote based in the US but is not eligible to be hired in California, Connecticut,New York, New Jersey, Washington, or Pennsylvania.
Travel

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in Colorado: $112,320.00- $140,400.00
- This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
