Position Overview
Session Leads are industry professionals who provide world-class learning support to our learners. Handpicked through a rigorous selection process, our session leads ensure we remain #studentfirst.
As a Session Lead, you will run multiple virtual sessions for Product Management students, enhancing their online learning with Fintech-specific concepts and principles. You will provide expert insights, practical examples, and engage with learners to help them understand this new space.
Required skills/qualifications:
- Fluency in English
- Technical Competence: Product Lifecycle, Product Strategy, Product Design, Product Development, Product Launch, Product Development, Rapid Prototyping, Experimentation, User-Centered Design, Go-To-Market Strategy
- 3-8 years of Experience in a Product Management Role
- In-depth knowledge of the product development process and special considerations for Fintech products
- Expertise in local regulations and compliance issues related to Fintech in the MENA region
- Expertise in the above key FinTech topics
- Strong communication and mentorship skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to lead a group of students
- Student-oriented mindset and focus on understanding their problems
- Flexibility at your current job to take on this part-time, external contractor role
- Analytical and Marketing Skills
- Udacity Graduate is a Plus
- Experience teaching technical concepts and public speaking
- Innovative approach and proactivity with students that need help
- Positive character, trusted by the students, creating emotional ties in the group
- Existing tech network and experience in technical conversations & discussions
Responsibilities:
- Conduct multiple virtual sessions between August - October with Product Management students
- Develop session agendas and materials to cover key fintech topics such as Fintech Market Analysis, Partnership/Ecosystem Management, FinTech Product Development, Rules and regulations, UX Design
- Provide expert insights and practical examples to enhance students' learning experiences
- Answer students' questions and provide mentorship and guidance
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the Telco industry is a plus
- Experience developing products related to Payments, P2P Transfer, E-Wallet and/or Remittances
