As a Senior QA Tester, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the reliability, functionality, and user-friendliness of our mobile applications. You will devise, implement, and manage testing processes, working closely with the development and product teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with quality engineering, product, and engineering teams to understand new product features and functionalities.
- Translate requirements into applicable test cases to ensure a high-quality final product.
- Advocate for the customer, work as a team player, and ensure a high-caliber user experience.
- Take ownership of the product, beyond just moving tickets across a board.
Test Management:
- Create and maintain the full testing lifecycle, from planning to execution and documentation.
- Collaborate on test plans and determine necessary tests at different stages of product development.
- Decide on devices and operating systems required for efficient feature testing.
- Develop test automation scripts for critical functionalities.
Release Management:
- Ensure release schedules are maintained.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure each release is thoroughly tested and meets standards.
- Clearly communicate issues and expectations for releases.
- Monitor release rollouts, track crashes, and triage new issues.
Bug and Issue Management:
- Ensure no blocking bugs are released to production and prioritize high-priority bugs.
- Document, track, and resolve issues promptly.
- Triage critical issues from customer support and surface urgent matters.
- Distinguish between blocking and low-priority issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years in a QA role, with at least 2 years in a senior position.
- Strong understanding of mobile technologies and platforms (iOS, Android).
- Knowledge of API calls and testing.
- Experience with proxy tools for debugging applications (Charles, Proxyman).
- Proficient in writing automation test cases with frameworks like Appium, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with test case management systems (TestRail, TestMo, ZephyrScale).
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with xCode and Android Studio.
- Familiarity with accessibility tools and testing.
