Position Highlights | The School of Government & Public Policy at the University of Arizona seeks multiple Adjunct Instructors (part-time, non-tenure eligible, non-benefits eligible) for the Fall 2024 semester (08/26/2024 - 12/11/2024) with experience in teaching one or more of the following areas: public policy, political science, and criminal justice studies. Positions are available to teach at the undergraduate- and graduate-level coursework for the MPA and MPP programs at the Main Campus in Tucson, AZ. Specifically, undergraduate coursework includes PA 451: Evidence-Based Policing and graduate coursework includes PA 521: Utility Management. All Courses needing instruction are held in-person unless otherwise noted. The School of Government & Public Policy (SGPP) was formed in 2009 by combining two highly ranked programs – political science and public administration and policy – bringing them under a single roof. Located in the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences, SGPP is one of the largest schools at the University of Arizona and is uniquely situated to serve as a new model for public affairs education by promoting high-caliber research, teaching, community outreach, and civic leadership.
