As a Project Assistant, you will assist the client managing projects and business functions. This position will assist with organizing and archiving old project documents, scheduling meetings, taking detailed notes, tracking team progress, and fostering effective collaboration among team members. This position will also assist with administrative tasks, such as processing invoices, handling travel reimbursement, and advising managers on available funds for purchases.
What You’ll Do:
Collaboration: Collaborates with team members to write, develop and implement communications plans that align with the firm’s business goals.
Content Creation: Develops engaging and informative content that is consistent with brand messaging for a variety of communications channels including internal, social and web platforms.
Creative Strategy: Collaborates with creative team to create engaging content.
Event Management: Supports the coordination and logistics of various events, such as conferences, meetings, open houses, forums and other events.
Editorial Management: Maintain an editorial calendar of content.
Analytics: Compiles and provides analytics on internal and external content.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related fields and 3 years of corporate communications or agency experience
In lieu of degree, 7 years of related experience
What You’ll Bring:
Excellent writing skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Teamwork/collaboration
Adobe Creative Suite and SharePoint expertise
Highly organized
Be a self-starter who possesses creativity and can-do attitude
Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in a timely manner
Familiar with web content management systems such as WordPress
What We Prefer:
Demonstrated ability to follow business practices and procedures
Demonstrated ability to utilize office equipment and other relevant technology (software and systems such as SAP) to meet organizational needs.
Demonstrated ability to clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of audiences
Demonstrated ability to present ideas clearly and effectively in written form; ability to adjust language or terminology to meet the needs of the audience; ability to use correct grammar, organization, and structure.
