CLINICAL PRACTICE ASSISTANT MANAGER

Position Purpose:  The Clinical Practice Assistant Manager is responsible to assume the role of working assistant manager in a clinical and/or administrative capacity under the direction of the Manager of Clinical and Practice Operations: supervise day-to-day functions of the clinical staff to provide clinical/administrative support to ensure an efficient workflow.

Essential Functions

1. Supervise staff and oversee day-to-day clinic functions and operations.
2. Works with multidisciplinary team to carry out successful clinic operations.
3. Provides clinical training, including clinical documentation to ensure completeness, consistency, and quality documentation.
4. Effectively communicates performance and quality improvement initiatives, policies, and procedures to clinical support staff to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
5. Supports staff development through trainings to increase access and quality of care.
6. Participates and provides input on performance improvement on an ongoing basis.
7. Consults with the manager regarding employee and workplace concerns.
8. Reviews responsibility reporting data to keep track of budget.
9. Identifies and implements IDPH and CDPH immunization guidelines through Vaccine for Children Program.
10. Provides education for any changes in policies and procedures made by Illinois Department of Public Health, The Joint Commission, and CDC.
11. are submitted and completed in a timely manner.
12. Monitor patient satisfaction reviews regarding the clinics.
13. Works closely with health care providers and Health Information Management to ensure that all charts are completed timely.
14. Attends meetings as requested by management team.
15. Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrates competence in communicating and collaborating effectively with staff and health care providers.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Healthcare-related field
• Knowledge of billing procedures and medical terminology
• Experience with Electronic Health Records
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and telephone skills
• Bilingual Spanish/English, preferred.
