About this Role:
We’re looking for a highly organized, process-driven, warehouse and inventory leader to guide our team through our next period of rapid growth. With a passion for people and a love for data, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for building and developing our warehouse team and methods.
What You’ll Do:
- Warehousing
- Organization - Create and implement 5S program for all warehousing areas and coolers.
- Rotation/FIFO/LIFO - Ensure team is practicing proper inventory rotations
- Receiving/Shipping - Ensure all Receiving and Shipping SOPs are followed, create SOPs when needed.
- Safety - Ensure all safety SOPs are adhered to by the team
- Inventory
- Counting - Create counting schedule and ensure its accuracy
- Tracking/Reporting - Create clear and concise reports to track and share KPIs over time. Ensure Procurement and Finance teams have up-to-date and accurate information
- Requisition/Running - Create oversee systems that ensure all products, equipment, and packaging are brought to the production team promptly
- People Management
- Development - Coaches and develops Supervisors, Leads, and Front line staff. Keep a close eye on new potential leaders on the floor and work with them to grow their careers at Farmers Fridge
- Building - Overseeing all staffing needs for warehouse/inventory team: Hiring, temps, and scheduling
- Manage Warehouse and Inventory Performance Metrics
- Units Per Person across 7-day operations; Indirect Labor Cost
- Inventory Accuracy %
- Radio Call quantity
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by fostering effective collaboration and amicable communication with team members, encouraging mutual respect and support
- Contribute to reducing downtime effectively in all areas, reduce pain points for other teams

Who You Are…
- Bachelor's degree required
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment - preferably fresh food
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and GMP/ Food Safety standards
- The ability to operate in ambiguous situations and be flexible as the organization changes and grows – we are in a new place every quarter!
- A communicator - you convey ideas clearly and effectively; however, your secret power is listening and understanding
- A collaborator - we don't point fingers or find blame, we work together to find solutions and implement them together
- A project manager - you’re able to identify a problem and use your team and resources at hand to push through a fix.
- A learner - you have a growth mindset and love learning new things
- A humble leader - we’re pretty busy over here - no room for egos!
