Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides data analysis and support to leadership team as needed to develop policies and programs that support the goals of the division. Monitors student enrollment trends, examines admissions and aid patterns, and identifies areas of concern and opportunities. Recommends strategies to maximize potential of the unit in meeting the institutional goals around recruiting, enrolling, and supporting the first-year and transfer classes.
- Works with admissions and student financial services staff, the offices of Institutional Research and Financial Planning, and outside consultants to model the selection process and to implement the models in an efficient, effective way to define and achieve institutional enrollment and financial aid goals.
- Analyzes and reports on internal and external data including student surveys, and national and international trend data. Participates in the development of quantitative research tools internally and with external partners.
- Provides reporting and statistical summaries and analysis of admissions and aid data on both a regular and ad hoc basis for a variety of clients, including senior University administrators, and admissions related survey data for outside agencies.
- Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
- Mastery of Excel, Power Point, Word.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree desirable.
- Relevant work experience in social sciences, statistics, higher education administration, or other related field.
- Advanced degree preferred or significant direct experience.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree with training in statistics and three year experience in the management and analysis of large data sets; or bachelor’s degree and and five years relevant experience.

Salary Range
$64,700.00 - $110,500.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
