OPERATIONS MANAGER

Our Operations Manager will manage the daily delivery and branch fleet operation and maintenance by supervising the drivers and roof loading staff and assist our customers by phone, e-mail, text, and in-person.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise drivers and roof loaders, provide coaching and guidance, assign and train delivery service personnel to safely and properly load delivery vehicles, secure each load, and deliver and distribute roofing material.
• Dispatch or oversee the dispatching of trucks for efficient and accurate delivery of product to job sites using SRS provided systems and tools.
• Conduct and oversee load checks for all daily deliveries to ensure accuracy of loads.
• Manage preventative maintenance and repair for all delivery vehicles and warehouse forklifts using qualified forklift and commercial vehicle repair and maintenance shops.
• Insure branch is safety compliant and operating within the standards of the company by  conducting safety audits and meetings
• Manage driver's DVIR reports and HOS records to ensure compliance.
• Track and administer hours worked for drivers and roof loaders.

Qualifications:

• Experience running a delivery service or logistics operation and working in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment with similar responsibilities.
• Experience operating a forklift in this type of setting is a plus or we will help you get certified.
• High level of familiarity of the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas and have the ability to route safely and effectively.
• Must have basic math skills for inventory counts; and English verbal and written skills to be able to read purchase orders and communicate with team members.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs. repeatedly each day.
• Be reliable, safe and a team player.

• Class A or B license with at least one year of verifiable driving experience is preferred.
• Working in the roofing industry is a plus.
• High School degree or GED. College courses are a plus.
• Have a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time.
• Able to pass criminal and driving background check and a pre-employment drug test.
