Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops solutions to improve quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity, and safety utilizing formal education, experience, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.
- Drive for process cpk improvement to meet cpk goal of >;1.67 and stretch goal of >;2.0.
- Drive for process yield FPY improvement to meet >;99.5%.
- Drive for process automation and data automated reporting for real time process improvement.
- Define process critical parameter CTQ with trigger limit being defined, with trigger alarm being turn on.
- Define process troubleshoot procedure for manufacturing with all process triggered alarm or process trouble shooting OCAPs available and OCAP effectives are validated.
- Develops new process or design qualification programs.
- Plans and conducts experiments to fully characterize mechanical process throughout pathfinding to development to ramp.
- Transfers process to high volume manufacturing and provide support in new factory start-up.
- Document owner for VAR, process WI and FMEA.
- Lead for respective Process Change control CCB document.
- Knowledge in automated inspection will add advantage.

- BS/BA degree or equivalent.
REQUIRED:
- Provide management and technical leadership for assigned projects ensuring schedule fidelity and successful completion (projects will be both customer and process focused).
- Work with reliability engineers on the qualification of process and product.
- Sustain legacy products with cost reduction, process improvements and perform troubleshooting of production issues.
- Develop mechanical fixtures, production tooling, and machines for product assembly.
- Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators and technicians.
- Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Capable to work independently with internal product team and automation vendor for new automation development and existing automation tools upgrade.
- Able to train equipment technicians on equipment system level trouble shooting.
PREFERRED:
- A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team.
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
SKILLS:
- Degree in mechanical, manufacturing, engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
- Knowledge in six sigma.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze and understand problems and conceptualize solutions.
- Need to have a passion, determination to uncover root cause and derive long term solution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Good mind mapping and proficient in MS Excel, MS Project and Powerpoint presentation.
