Responsibilities:
SAP Implementation and Customization:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning engineering, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, accounting, finance, people, and more to understand the business needs, engineer solutions, and ensure our systems are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Strong in SAP functional modules with an initial focus on Finance and Purchasing capability.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical.
- Configure and customize SAP Public Cloud modules according to best practices.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing of SAP Public Cloud solutions.
- Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution for SAP Public Cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with other SAP consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure quality and timely delivery of SAP Public Cloud solutions
- Able to Design interfaces, custom reports, tables, programs, conversions, enhancements, and Forms (RICEF)
- Able to lead cross-functional module activities.
- Lead the implementation and customization of SAP applications to align with the company's unique business requirements.
- Able to perform as SAP SME to an automation team.
- Strong experience in writing functional specifications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Provide training and coaching to business and IT users on SAP Public Cloud best practices and standards.
Integration Management:
- Design and manage the integration of SAP modules with other enterprise applications and systems.
- Ensure seamless data flow and consistency between SAP and other business-critical applications.
Custom Development and Enhancement:
- Develop and implement custom solutions within the SAP environment to address specific business needs.
- Continuously evaluate SAP updates and enhancements, applying them to improve system functionality.
User Training and Support:
- Provide training sessions to end-users on SAP functionalities and best practices.
- Offer ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure the smooth operation of SAP applications.
System Upgrades and Patch Management:
- Plan and execute SAP system upgrades and patch management activities.
- Collaborate with the IT team to minimize downtime and ensure a secure and up-to-date SAP environment.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor SAP system performance, analyze trends, and implement optimizations to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP configurations, custom developments, and procedures.
- Generate regular reports on SAP system performance, user activity, and issue resolution for management review.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and identify areas for SAP-driven improvements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure SAP solutions align with the strategic goals of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred or extensive experience in lieu of degree.
- Proven experience as an Application Engineer with a focus on SAP.
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA platform private and public clouds, related technologies, and integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Experience in SAP integration with other enterprise systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- SAP certification(s) is a plus.
- At least three years of experience in SAP Public Cloud consulting, implementation, or support
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
