Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations of the company’s corporate video studio and assist with the creative and logistical needs for multiple productions.
- Ensure the studio is prepared and production needs are addressed.
- Operate broadcast equipment including, but not limited to master control equipment, studio video cameras during live and taped productions, teleprompter, character generators, editing software, graphics software and computers.
- Support proper studio setup and operation of video cameras, switching and routing systems, audio mixers, video and audio monitors, video servers, lighting, and other associated equipment for assigned video projects.
- Edit video content and provide visual and graphics support for use across multiple platforms.
- Assist with studio setups and logistics for live shows; Operate teleprompter and cameras during live and taped shows.
- Assign and prepare mics for on-air talent and conduct mic checks.
- Maintain studio sets with responsibility for reporting, receiving approval for and initiating repair and maintenance activity.
- Assist the broadcast studio director with troubleshooting technical problems while effectively removing roadblocks if they occur during studio productions.
- Support control room needs during pre-production and live broadcasts and/or tapings.
- Direct the select production shoots and special projects as assigned.
- Manage and administer Brightcove account for video hosting and playback solutions.
- Complete duties as the assigned studio lead.
Qualifications
- 8-15 years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience must include experience in a video and studio production environment
- Undergraduate degree is required
- Experience managing multiple projects for multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Experience working against company deadlines
- Knowledge of shooting and lighting techniques as well as editing videos
- Demonstrated skill with video editing software platforms, specifically proficiency with Adobe Premiere, and relevant Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Knowledge of After Effects and animation techniques
- Audio engineering, production, and mixing capabilities
- Extensive knowledge of video production equipment
- Experience with live streaming is a plus
- Experience with VMIX and other studio production equipment is a plus
- Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills, and able to work independently as needed
- A collaborative mindset and able to work with varying and changing needs
- Able to work independently
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Able to operate and carry camera equipment up to 25 lbs
