Director, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

About the Role:

The Strategic Finance team at myAgro is aligned with departments across the organization, partnering with senior leaders in financial planning and strategic analysis. As FP&A Director, you will manage one person and help improve analytics that guide important decisions, providing insights, strategic analysis and accurate forecasts. You will report to the CFO.

• You are customer service oriented - you are an expert at bridging finance & operational leadership to reach common goals. You take pride in understanding the operational model and pace and ensure your team’s work plans are aligned. 

You Will:

• Direct all budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions
• Create executive and Board-level presentations for Budgets, Forecasts, Actuals vs Targets, and KPI reporting 
• Manage financial cycles of the organization including driving process and preparing annual budget, quarterly rolling forecasts, and monthly operating reviews
• Build the best strategic FP&A function and systems and tools to support it 
• Develop and use data-driven analytics, including reports and dashboards, to produce value-added insights and relevant recommendations to increase growth and influence KPIs
• Partner with accounting and business leads to improve efficiency in reporting which will increase financial results for the business
• Support CFO and leadership in developing long-term and short-term financial goals and support long-term strategic planning process for the business 
• Analyze macro and micro trends and stay informed of strategic growth projects to understand their impact to forecasts and long-range financial projections
• Other tasks as required and deputy to the CFO

You Have:

• Undergraduate degree or advanced degree, with experience in accounting, finance, business or economics
• 6+ years of accounting, FP&A, management consulting, or banking experience
• Advanced competency with Excel and PowerPoint, with experience manipulating large financial data sets and building financial models
• Experience presenting financial information in an accessible way to both financial and non-financial audiences
• Accounting licensure, like CPA
