Position Summary:
The position of Clinical Program Lead is a licensed therapist who is responsible for staff compliance with all contract requirements and rules for service delivery and documentation. The Clinical Program Lead has responsibility to uphold and maintain compliance with program contracts. The position is also part of program development. The clinical lead is responsible for ensuring Quality Assurance standards of the program are met. This position will also provide direct clinical services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
• Provide direct counseling services, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, assessment, treatment planning, and case management as needed to maintain a minimum caseload of 10 clients.
• The clinical lead duties include partaking in the intake process of clients as needed.
• Support the Manager through community outreach, customer service needs, expansion program opportunities and building relationships with the community.
• Develop a training expectation for onboarding and continued education for staff into the program with Manager’s support and guidance.
• Build and manage reports for quality and progress standards in collaboration with the Quality Management department.
• Collaborate with Mental Health Coordinators and Clinical Program Manager to manage, foster engagement and assign referrals to clinicians.
• Assist Program Manager to monitor clinicians' dosage, LOS, units of service, and caseload in accordance with the contract requirements.
• Provide evaluations and communication to managers about staff and program needs.
• Network with local agencies to support program growth and maintenance.
• Manage compliance within agency employment standards with client satisfaction and complaints.
• Maintain excellent communication and collaboration with all agency staff, Santa Clara County Behavioral Health staff, and community.
• Upholds compliance with agency and clinical documentation procedures, audit procedures, and clinical practices for self and staff required trainings and tracking of completion.
• Responsible for supporting Clinical Program Manager with weekly unit meetings to support rollouts, trainings, and communication with staff.
• BBS licensure is mandatory. If licensed for 2+ years and have completed their BBS supervision requirements, they would provide staff with individual supervision as needed.”
• Meets weekly with the Program Manager for supervision and is required to attend agency staff meetings and in-service training. Participate as a collaborative member of the overall agency and the agency Mental Health Management team.
• Available to be on site a minimum of 3 days a week to serve as support for clinical and admin staff with emergency client situations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the agency's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; supervision, both individual and group; oversight of staff records and reports; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This role also has a component of supervision for the staff as needed. Provide BBS-qualifying individual/group supervision for staff as needed, if licensed 2+ years and completed BBS supervision requirements.
