What you’ll do:

You will define strategy for programmatic user research and provide recommendations for a functional area.

You will plan and manage user research programs.

You will mentor others on research techniques.

You will incorporate research and insights across multiple disciplines, and use storytelling and persuasion to connect vision, strategy and action plans to advocate on behalf of our customer.

You will advocate for the work of the User Research org to stakeholders, lead-level peers, the wider organization and industry.
-
You will lead collaboration with key stakeholders and contribute subject matter expertise to develop unique solutions to complex issues.

You will incorporate insights from internal and industry research support product development or brand strategy.

You will develop and promote frameworks that help product and brand teams fully understand who their users and customers are, what behaviors they exhibit, and what their needs and pain points are.
Who you are:
-
Master’s or PhD or Equivalent Experience; Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology degree or relevant experience is applicable.

Expert in the following methodologies: survey development, psychometric development, experimentation, hypothesis testing, key driver analysis.

Expertise in statistics, power user of R, Python, and/or SQL.

Has a strong understanding of user-centered design including Research moderation or fielding, Research design, Research reporting, and User-centered design. Able to connect the dots between multiple methodologies and disciplines.

Preference for candidates with experience working with or on Voice of Customer (VoC) teams.
The total cash range for this position in Austin is $221,000.00 to $309,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $353,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
