JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Collaborate with engineering, safety and compliance, and testing departments to develop and maintain an accurate DVP&R that mitigates risk and supports powertrain and vehicle program timelines across all truck divisions.
• Assist in developing test protocols for global test departments.
• Support program management with validation budget details, including test equipment.
• Assure that comprehensive test plans are developed and aligned with powertrain and vehicle programs.
• Assist in metric creation and provide written and verbal updates to communicate project updates, risks/gaps of powertrain program timelines and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Perform Supplier visits and evaluate/establish test protocols and DVP&R
• Up to 30% travel (domestic and international) 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering required or related technical field required.
• 5 years of product development or related experience is required.
• Prior experience with risk mitigation methods such as DFMEA and DVP&R.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to deliver technical presentations and written reports to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a team to achieve timely objectives.
• Resourceful with a problem-solving approach and demonstrated passion to deliver top-quality results.
• Prior experience managing data using Excel or similar tools.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION

The salary range for a Powertrain Validation Engineer is $96,700-$151,300 annually. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.  Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
