As the Director of Sales at Trella, you will:
- Build and implement a sales strategy to achieve new logo and cross-sell revenue goals and aligns with the company’s overall objectives, revenue targets, and market trends
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to accurately forecast sales and adjust strategies as necessary
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and collaboration
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales reps as needed
- Cultivate and maintain key customer relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Develop and manage leading indicator targets associated with company and division goals to assess the performance of the sales team and individual members
- Support and coach all phases of the sales process include prospecting, value position, product demonstrations, and closing
- Identify training needs, develop training programs, and provide ongoing coaching to the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and forecasts for presentation to senior management on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Build an in-depth understanding of Trella Health’s solutions and services along with the evolving needs of the market and competitive landscape to convey the value propositions unique to the prospects’ challenges and goals
This job might be a fit for you if you have:
- BA/BS or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience in sales leadership, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Prior experience selling B2B SaaS-based solutions to new customers within the healthcare IT industry, preferably with knowledge of the Post Acute Provider market
- Prior experience with high velocity sales models where reps are managing high volumes of fast-moving deals
- 2+ years’ experience in successful sales and/or BDR management within the healthcare IT industry
- Strong leadership experience with demonstrated success in developing, motivating, and managing sales and/or BDR teams to optimal performance
- Proven hands-on sales process experience such as prospecting leads, discovery and demonstration meetings, negotiations/closing, forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline and revenue, and exceeding quota objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization and with customer/prospect c-suite stakeholders to engage and facilitate across multiple stakeholders to accomplish team goals
- Confident, assertive, results driven, strong organizational skills and self-starter
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- A strong sense of accountability to help drive productivity and revenue goals for the team and the company.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales-related tools.
- Prior experience in a growth start-up environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel 20% of the year
