CRISIS ASSESSMENT SPECIALIST (POOL)

Job Details:

This position is casual pool position (not scheduled) to assist with 24/7 operations of the Behavioral Crisis Center and Mobile Crisis Services as needed. The Crisis Assessment Specialist provides emergency behavioral health pre-screening, psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and referral management to patients and their families. Responsible for assisting patients and their families in understanding and learning to cope with behavioral crisis and facilitate appropriate transition or admission planning for those patients needing placement in behavioral health treatment facilities or programs. Assist families in resolving complex personal and environmental difficulties which interfere with effective social functioning. This position will collaborate interdepartmentally with all division of the hospital and may provide services in the hospital or community settings.

Department Specific Job Details:

• LISW/LPCC preferred, LSW/LPC accepted
• CPI/CPR preferred, no required
• eligible for shift differential

Masters: Counseling (Required), Masters: Social Work (Required)

Certification/License Requirements:
