Poker Cashier- Aria

DAY-TO-DAY

• Perform chip redemption and sales to patrons, Poker runners and Floor personnel
• Meet the demands of a fast-paced gaming environment by using good judgement and the ability to multi-task
• Secure and document all recordable transactions made with company assets
• Complete electronic multiple transaction logs accurately, complete transaction logs manually, when necessary
• Balance bank at end of shift
• Assist patrons with general information upon request
• Issue or surrender poker safety deposit boxes and provide access to patrons
• Establish new patron accounts following Title 31 guidelines
• Provide buy-in and re-buys for patrons participating in all poker tournaments. Assist Poker room supervision with paid patron participation totals.

WHAT IS REQUIRED

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Gaming Registration

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication,  division, and money handling
• Ability to balance a bank without assistance (locating errors when out of balance)
• Knowledgeable of 10-key adding machine and currency counter
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
• Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
