What You’ll Do:
- Oversee and conduct the daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring and reporting for clients.
- Support day-to-day earned media activities, overseeing and participating in the development of press releases, pitches, key messages, etc.
- Work closely with media relations experts to provide media counsel as well as develop angles that are “media-able.”
- Provide media support, coordinate logistics and assist with media material creation and outreach.
- Build relationships with media contacts and outlets.
- Participate in client and account team interactions, assist in creating client meeting and call reports, activity reports, status documents, and results reports for agency team.
- Anticipate client and team needs to support where needed.
- Interest in understanding paid media and its relationship to earned media/media relations preferred.
- Provide event management support by coordinating logistics and assisting with on-site needs.
- Stay ahead of new trends – particularly with Gen Z – by being relentlessly curious and in-the-know on pop culture (food/nutrition, lifestyle, travel, etc.) share with team to inform and drive strategy.
- Be an ongoing student of campaign activations in the industry and demonstrate a passion for brands that build trust with their consumers.
- Foster and maintain productive and influential client relationships.

What You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, business, English, journalism, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience, ideally at a Public Relations or Integrated Marketing Agency.
- Passion for storytelling and staying up-to-date on current trends.
- Experience crafting pitches, drafting press releases, and monitoring/reporting using tools such as Cision and MuckRack.
- Experience supporting a food/beverage client a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to think on your feet and participate in brainstorms and work sessions.
- Communicate effectively with direct manager and account team to set expectations, share status updates, and flag potential issues.
- Time management and prioritization skills and the ability to juggle multiple deliverables and timelines at once in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
- A collaborative style, fosters teamwork, and inspires great work.
Salary Range: $50,000-70,000
