Qualifications
- High School diploma and one (1) to two (2) years of prior experience in an insurance agency environment, with employee benefits, health or property and casualty products background and knowledge preferred.
- Strong organizational, written communication and verbal communication skills.
- Moderate skills in end-user computer software applications e.g., calendar, presentation, spreadsheet, and word processing.
- Prior experience using an insurance data tracking software preferred (e.g., Epic).
- Prior experience working in a team environment preferred.
- Prior experience working in a sales and/or customer contact environment preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
- Prior experience in Agriculture industry preferred.
- Active California and/or Arizona life and health license or the ability to obtain license highly desirable.
- Verifiable, clean DMV record and the ability to travel to various locations throughout the U.S. (mainly California and Arizona) less than 10% of the time.
Duties And Responsibilities
Business Development and Retention Support
- Produce quotes, proposals, presentations, and required paperwork for the topside producer and account management teams.
- Perform quality review of business submission documentation exchanged between the carrier(s), customers, and WG employees.
- Create data spreadsheets for WGIS and assist in validating and continuous updating of workflow documentation with management.
- Facilitate the timely and accurate collection, input, and data maintenance of required information in the requisite software applications utilized by WGIS (e.g., Epic).
- Ensure that all document management is done appropriately—i.e., scanning and attaching information into Agency Management System and workflow tracking.
Issue Research and Resolution
- Perform as a point of contact for WGIS external customer issues reported via email, telephone and/or in person.
- Address and resolve service requests independently or escalate in a timely manner.
- Document customer service issues/problems.
- Research issues/problems through system documentation and interface with all required internal WGA departments and facilitate appropriate response/solution with internal resources.
- Contact customers and provide either information requested or resolution to the problem and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in resolution implementation efforts for customers as requested by the account team and/or WGIS management.
