Duties & Responsibilities
Paper copies of the Reports can be obtained by contacting the University Compliance Office at
- Develop, plan, design, and conduct research. Review progress and evaluates results. Coordinate laboratory work including lab equipment management.
- Formulate research methods. Develop or collaborate in the development of new techniques, methods, and equipment.
- Contribute to ensuring regulatory compliance of the research program by coordinating with granting agencies and regulators as required by research program.
- Design and perform experiments, interpret data, and analyze results.
- Present findings and prepare and submit manuscripts and research grants.
- Present talks, posters and research findings at national and international conferences.
- Attend regular group meetings; manage, maintain, and order laboratory equipment and supplies; and respond to administrative request and procedures.
- Generate new ideas and projects for development.
- The applicant must have a PhD in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, or related field of study and zero to four years of postdoctoral experience.
- Strong background in neuroscience and demonstrated productivity.
- Imaging technique experience.
- Adept at computer software (Word, Excel, Power Point) and familiarity statistical and graphing programs.
