Duties/ Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze SharePoint website pages and recommend strategies for improving content and messaging.
- Liaise with other departments, offices, stakeholders, collaborative partners to nurture relationships and facilitate discussions.
- Present, informally, and formally, information to clients, senior leadership, stakeholders, and users.
- Develop a communication engagement program that incorporates FFRDC and PMO marketing, training/workshops/education, and outreach.
- Coordinate and facilitate timely communication and outreach efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills/Abilities
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance.
- Must possess knowledge in working within Adobe Creative Suite (or similar) and PowerPoint.
- Must possess strong ability to develop reports and briefing materials in various formats with minimal direction from federal staff.
- Demonstrated outstanding written communication and presentation skills; organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, flexibility, and adaptability in adjusting material development quickly and effectively.
- Experience in preparing visual presentations, including draft briefings, posters, newsletters, websites, and other communications devices.
- Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with Government and contractor personnel.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work well with different levels of authority, backgrounds, personality, and experience.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent critical thinking, organizational, problem solving, oral and written communication skills.
- Adaptability and willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.
- Ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of program output data and information associated with research work plans, budget reports, and the like.
- DHS/S&T experience.
- Experience working with PMO staff.
- Data visualization
- Experience developing interactive content and digital designs
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience performing outreach-based activities and developing content for internal or external presentation or distribution.
- Requires federal meeting and event planning experience and the ability to work collaboratively with key internal and external partners and stakeholders.
- B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited college or university.
Travel Requirement:
- Quarterly CONUS and OCONUS travel anticipated. Local travel is also anticipated to support this task order and is defined in accordance with federal travel regulations.
- Representative destinations include FFRDC PMO conferences, workshops, off-site meetings, speaking engagements, and travel to other research facilities.
Clearance Requirement:
- Secret Clearance.
