Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to CSX Enterprise Standard techniques and promoting low code/no code capabilities within Salesforce architecture.
- Champion and disseminate standard application architecture, fostering best practices in low code/no code development.
- Serve as a hands-on technical expert, contributing to architectural design, leveraging low code/no code platforms for project success.
- Collaborate with Business Architects and Product Owners to define technology scope aligned with CSX's digital transformation goals.
- Lead development of software libraries and tools for low code/no code development, ensuring architectural consistency.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to drive architectural decisions in low code/no code development.
- Oversee project milestones, recommending adjustments based on architectural considerations.
- Develop technology strategies supporting business objectives, integrating low code/no code platforms with other applications and systems
- Promote architecture vision, providing guidance in low code/no code development within Salesforce ecosystem.
- Stay updated on industry trends, ensuring technology meets current and future needs, emphasizing low code/no code solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems/Technology or related major field of study.
- 9 or more years of combined experience required in Software Development and Software Architecture.
Equivalent Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED.
- 11 or more years of combined experience required in Software Development and Software Architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited institution required in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems/Technology or related major field of study.
- 7 or more years of combined experience required in Software Development and Software Architecture.
Knowledge and Skills
- Low Code/No Code Platforms: Proficiency in Salesforce platform, low code/no code capabilities within Salesforce, and understanding their capabilities and limitations to drive effective application modernization.
- Experience Cloud and Service Cloud Development: Hands-on development experience and proof-of-concept (POC) expertise in leveraging Salesforce Experience Cloud (formerly known as Community Cloud) and Service Cloud to build engaging customer experiences and streamline service delivery processes within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Cloud Computing: Strong grasp of cloud technologies, particularly Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings, to deploy and manage applications built on low code/no code platforms in a scalable and cost-efficient manner.
- Java Development: Proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies such as JEE, Spring framework, enabling effective understanding and refactoring of legacy codebases for compatibility with low code/no code platforms
- Integrations: Proficiency in design and implementing integrations using various technologies such as RESTful APIs, and messaging systems like Kafka. Ability to architect robust and scalable integration solutions, ensuring seamless commination between different systems and services.
- Frontend Development: Knowledge of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular and React to customize user interfaces and enhance user experience in applications developed
- Database Management: Understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) to design and optimize data models for low code/no code applications and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Security and Compliance: Awareness of security best practices, compliance standards, and data protection mechanisms to implement robust security measures and ensure regulatory compliance in applications developed on low code/no code platforms.
- DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform) to streamline the development, testing, and deployment processes
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, prioritize user stories, and deliver iterative improvements in applications
