Base pay starts at $22.00 per hour
Shift: Full Time Day Shift
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery Drivers deliver and distribute our products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner aimed at increasing profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and operate the vehicle in accordance with all laws and Cornerstone Building Brands policies and procedures
- Ensure that all loads are delivered safely, accurately, and timely to correct address without damage to customer/company property
- Use moffett to unload heavy material
- Collect payment from customer/company site and deliver all payments to front office
- Always take photos of each delivery/drop, with use of iPad
- Report any accidents or damages immediately to Team Lead or office
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Have an acceptable accident and moving violation Motor Vehicle Record
- 2 years of previous tractor-trailer driving experience including winter driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)
- Valid Medical Card
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to work effectively with people in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in degrees of precision and control where damage could be considerable
- Attention and care required to prevent injury to others when performing work
- Ability to stoop, bend, stand for long periods of time
- Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
