We are looking for a Folding Cartons Sales Strategy Manager that is a self-starter with excellent prospecting and relationship building skills.  This role will support the Sales team by identifying folding carton opportunities and guiding all parties through quoting, proofing and sampling for projects while communicating MCC’s value proposition on packaging solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and communicate marketing strategies.
• Direct development of new and existing customers through sales programs
• Collaboration with internal teams, including sales, marketing, finance plant management, leadership teams.
• Preparing and presenting to prospective customers
• Experience in building opportunity funnels and able to close deals
• Understanding of cost accounting principles within manufacturing plants

• Strategy: Working with the Vice President, Sales, communicate, and implement the strategic plan for growing MCC’s folding carton market share.
• Customers: Partner with the Sales team to assess prospective and existing customer's current and potential needs, with the ability to determine and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Business Development: Aggressively lead the effort to identify organizations that have folding carton needs that align with MCC’s technical capabilities. Identify investment needs to expand capability within the market.
• R&D and Technology: Leverage MCC’s Technical Development and Innovation teams to help ensure that new folding carton designs can be engineered to meet customer needs. 
• Operations & Supply Chain: Help maintain relationships with suppliers. Report on sales funnel to help ensure demand & supply chain planning can prepare for/react to incoming order volume. 
• Financial: Work with the MCC estimating team on sharing customer feedback to ensure pricing is competitive within the marketplace.
• Compliance: Lead a culture of integrity, including compliance with all laws and regulations governing publicly held companies.
• Safety and Risk Management: Assure a safe work environment, and the protection and efficient use of organization's assets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred with 5-10 years' relevant business and industry experience. Sales Support and Business Development experience required.
• 3-5 years demonstrated printing or packaging experience is required, folding carton experience is required.
• Technical knowledge base in the folding carton market
• Highly organized who can articulate needs of the customer
• Background in initiating sales growth strategies
• Rational, logical, fact-driven decision making.
• Read and analyze the most complex documents. Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels and influence others.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or the equivalent. The ability to create and customize presentations required.
• Articulate, clear, persuasive, and passionate in the spoken and written word.
• Make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics.
• Travel and move about in offices and plants.
