RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market Research: Conducting market analysis to identify potential leads or customer segments. Creating industry analysis on what kind of companies are buying suites and the reasons they buy them for
- Lead Generation: Assisting in lead generation activities through cold/warm calling, email campaigns, social media research and new and upcoming companies that are entering the market
- Sales Collateral Development: Supporting our sales team with company analysis that will help inform our sales pitch before the meetings including how the company would use the suite. For example will this company use the suite for current clients, community awareness and objectives, getting face time with potential new clients, employee engagement and executive perks
- CRM Maintenance: Updating and managing our CRM database with accurate information, updating notes, sales stages and relevant company information
- Customer Support: Handling inquiries, complains, or issues through all of our communication channels
- Order Processing: Becoming proficient in our Archtics system through training with our service representatives helping to fulfill orders, tracking ticket transfers and ensuring timely delivery before an event
- Feedback Compilation: gathering customer feedback and summarizing it for analysis and improvement purposes
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Technical Sales Development including sales techniques where they gain exposure to various sales methodologies, from prospecting, pitching, follow up, contract negotiation and management and ultimately closing deals
- CRM Proficiency and understanding and utilizing CRM tools to manage customer data, track interactions and analyze sales metrics
- Enhancing communication mediums and familiarizing with communication platforms including emails, phone and chat tools used in sales and customer service for effective outreach and support
- Product and service understanding: Comprehensive knowledge about the products and services offered including but not limited to, features, benefits and advantages
- Improving verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers, colleagues and superiors
- Learning to collaborate with the sales and service team and across all departments, understanding the importance of teamwork in achieving departmental and organizational goals
- Develop critical thinking and problem solving skills to address customer inquiries, objectives and resolve issues
HOURS & DURATION
- Part-time (25 to 30 hours per week); must be available to work at events, many of which occur on weekends and evenings, as directed by their immediate supervisors
- Term: June 25 to December 17, 2024

- Currently enrolled in a college or university program as a junior, senior, or recently graduated
- Pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Hospitality, or similar area of study
- Must be able to travel to the YouTube Theater and SoFi Stadium offices in Inglewood, CA at least 2-3 times per week

Salary Range: $19-$20/hour
In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Hollywood Park considers a candidate’s education, certification, prior experience, as well as internal and external data when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Only in exceptional circumstances, if an external candidate has the experience, credentials, or expertise far exceeding what is expected for the position, would Hollywood Park consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
