- Configure and test electronic assemblies.
- Execute against prepared test plans defined in our Test Rails Projects.
- Provide detailed reports of any issues encountered, including specific steps to reproduce the observed issue.
- Act as a support resource at the direction of product development.
- Assist software and hardware development activities, including installing and testing software.
- Help troubleshoot issues.
- Assist with the communication of issues and device behavior and support with the Vizio support organization.
- Periodically support other general needs of the development organization, including asset setup, configuring equipment for trade shows and sales support, and assisting the outward facing Quality Control organization as necessary.
About You
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. College degree is not required.
- You are able to effectively document and troubleshoot errors.
- You have a keen eye for detail and patience to track down difficult issues.
- You possess an analytical mind, critical-thinking skills, and problem-solving aptitude.
- You have strong organizational skills and can meticulously follow detailed steps.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You are able to work collaboratively across different divisions.
- You are able to drive issues and deliver quality results with a great deal of autonomy.
- You ideally have previous experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
- BONUS – You have working knowledge of test management software, such as TestRail, TestLink, Confluence and Jira.
